Nhan Dan – An awards ceremony was held on April 23 to present prizes to 236 students who participated in the 15th National Physics Olympiad for university students.
The competition took place from April 20-23 at Tay Nguyen University, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province, attracting the participation of nearly 400 students from 34 universities and colleges across the country who competed in multiple-choice exams, practical exercises and experiments.
A total of 236 students won individual awards, including 34 first, 77 second and 125 third prizes.
The organising board also presented a special prize to the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and 32 prizes to the best groups, including six first, 19 second and seven third prizes.
The annual Olympiad aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning physics, promote enthusiasm for studying, and discover outstanding students to train further in all fields of physics.
