NA Chairman Hung and Mong ethnic people in Long Luong commune, Moc Chau district.
The top legislator was pleased that the living conditions of the local residents have improved while preserving their cultural identity, customs and lifestyle.
He also praised the tradition of unity as well as the fighting sprit the Mong demonstrated in the national resistance wars against French colonialism and US imperialism, as well as in national construction and defence. Their solidarity has been passed down through generation of Mong people, strengthening the great national unity bloc and the country’s development, he said.
Chairman Hung asked the local authorities to promote the advantages of the province's geographical location, as well as its tourism potential and abundant human resources, to attract more investment in services, agriculture, cultural and tourism development, and poverty reduction.
