NA Chairman Hung meets outstanding disadvantaged students

The meeting was held as part of the second national festival for disadvantaged students who overcame difficult circumstances to do well in their studies.

Leaders of the NA and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee also attended the meeting.

Speaking at the event on behalf of the Party and State, NA Chairman Hung praised the students' efforts and achievements, emphasising that their good academic results demonstrate their determination to overcome challenges and strive for excellence.

The NA Chairman also said he hopes the students will continue their outstanding academic achievements and become good citizens who will contribute to national construction and defence in the future.

During the three-day festival, the students will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, as well as Van Mieu (the Temple of Literature) - Quoc Tu Giam in Hanoi; offer incense at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs; and travel to the Hung Kings Temple historical site and visit policy beneficiary families in the northern province of Phu Tho.
