The International Choir and Orchestra of HCMC will perform two concerts on May 27 and 28 at the Conservatory of Music in District 1, featuring the music of Mozart and Vivaldi, with all proceeds going to children’s charities.

The show will begin with Gloria by Vivaldi, followed by Coronation Mass (Mass No. 15 in C major, KV 317), one of the most popular of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s 17 mass settings, which was completed on March 23, 1779 in Salzburg. It also features Elgar and an orchestral piece featuring classical guitar.

Proceeds from the concerts will benefit needy children in Vietnam through two nominated charities Loreto Vietnam Australia Program and Poussieres de Vie (Dust of Life).

Tickets for the performances are available from the conservatory at 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1 and at Mekong Merchant, 23 Thao Dien Street in District 2. Guests can also order online at www.hcmcchoir.com or via email at tickets@hcmcchoir.com.

Tickets are priced at VND300,000 and VND450,000.

Both concerts start at 7:30 p.m
