Indefinable feelings

Ha burst into tears meeting her husband and Khanh quickly showed his wife around the island from room to room, the kitchen, and small but pretty vegetables-pots.
Similar to Ha, many others from different provinces across the country were impatiently looking forward to meet their sons or husbands who are undertaking noble mission on the island. Father Nguyen Van Xien from Quang Binh who visited his son in Da Dong B Island with only sweet potatoes and peanuts as presents also expected to arrive the island as soon as possible to give these special gifts for his son. Another father Vu Hong Quang loudly shouted drowning in the sound of the canoe engine: “My son is over there” upon seeing his son seriously preparing to greet him in Da Lat Island. Or mother Huynh Thi Dong from Quang Ngai sewed a new pair of trousers to put on only when she met her son in Phan Vinh Island.
This is my Truong Sa!
These are the first words uttered by Ta Ngoc Bao to his mother, Luong Thi Hue, when she sat her first foot on Truong Sa Island. “Yes. Your Truong Sa is so beautiful. But it is also mine”, the mother answered.
