More houses of gratitude presented to veterans

PANO - Veterans’ Association under PetroVietnam and several organizations on December 22nd presented two houses of gratitude to veterans and their families in Hoa Binh Province.

Recipients are the family of Mrs. Bui Thi Phong, the widow of martyr Bui Van Huyen who sacrificed his life in the resistance war against American imperialists. Phong’s family is living in Nat Son commune, Kim Boi district and the family of wounded soldier Bui Quoc Doanh, a victim of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Son Thuy Commune, Kim Boi District.

The two houses were built at a cost of more than VND 200 million within three months.

Other presents were also given to these recipients.

This special house presentation is part of practical activities annually carried out by Veterans’ Association under PetroVietnam and Vietnam Veterans’ Association to bring the tradition of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” into full play and contribute to the work of returning martyrs and their families’ favors.
