(CPV) – The Ministry of Health has asked units to promote preventative health care and give health checks and ensure food hygiene during Tet holidays.
The Ministry of Health asked the Department of Food Hygiene Safety to instruct localities as to good food hygiene and food poisoning prevention practices during Tet holidays.
The departments of health in localities are asked to coordinate with relevant agencies to promote the inspection of food safety, especially foods available in markets for Tet, restaurants and manufacturing establishments.
Health establishments are asked to prepare equipment, chemicals and medicines to give emergency aid during Tet. Localities also need to strengthen epidemic prevention, especially foot and mouth disease among children, petechial fever and diarrhoea.
The ministry also asked provinces that have international border gates to inspect imported foods and foods transported through borders, and prepare equipments and human resources in case of an epidemic occurring./.
