Minister of Home Affairs to be questioned about policies on civil servants

VietNamNet Bridge – At the sixth session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, which is scheduled in mid-March, the Ministers of Home Affairs and Health will be questioned.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has assigned cabinet members to prepare reports and bills to present at the session.

The Minister of Home Affairs will prepare a report on and answer questions about recruitment, training, fostering of and policies for civil servants and state employees and solutions to improve the quality of local governments.

The Minister of Health will answer questions about medical ethics and measures to ensure resources for prevention and treatment of diseases for the people.

At the second session of the 12th National Assembly, only several ministers were interrelated because of time limit. According to a National Assembly resolution, cabinet members will have to answer questions about hot topics, which are public concerns, at meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The Prime Minister also instructed the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development to prepare the government’s report on the plan of establishing the fishing management.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will present the draft Law of the Sea at the session.
