(VOV) - Vietnam’s top badminton player, Nguyen Tien Minh, is catapulted into the semi-finals of the 2012 Singapore Open Super Series after defeating Malaysian opponent Dareng Leew on June 22.
Tien Minh cruises to Singapore Open quarter-finals After losing 14-21 in the opening set, Minh regained his composure against the world’s No. 31, winning 21-11 in the second set and 21-13 in the third.
In the semi-finals on June 23, Minh will play the winner of the quarter-final match between Hayom Rumbaka from Indonesian and Boonsak Ponsana from Thailand.
