A business delegation from Malaysia’s Sarawak state is on a visit to Ho Chi Minh City to seek investment and cooperation opportunities.
The delegation was received by Deputy Chairwoman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong in Ho Chi Minh City on August 6. She introduced the city’s potential and investment procedures to the Malaysian businesses.
The Malaysian businessmen expressed their desire to invest and cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City in many areas, such as education and training, technology and high- tech agriculture.
They also said the Sarawak state wants to welcome people from the city to visit, study and work there. Sarawak is Malaysia’s largest state with a population of 1.2 million.
