The Vietnamese Labourer Management Board in Saudi Arabia has successfully located the host family of Nguyen Thi Toai, who had lost contact with her family for 27 months after moving in Saudi Arabia to work as a maid, according to the Overseas Labour Management Department.

HA NOI —

Head of the management board Nguyen Duc Nam said Toai was reported to be in good health, although she had not been seen in person.

Efforts would be made to take Toai to the Viet Nam Embassy to Saudi Arabia for more investigation.

Her labour contract is set to expire in four months, but it is unclear whether the contract was legal and would remain intact. — VNS
