HCMC – Some 19 enterprises in HCMC inked deals worth a total VND320 billion among themselves in the trade connection program organized for the first time by the HCMC Young Business Association (YBA) on Wednesday.

HCMC – Some 19 enterprises in HCMC inked deals worth a total VND320 billion among themselves in the trade connection program organized for the first time by the HCMC Young Business Association (YBA) on Wednesday.
The enterprises were from various fields of business including cell-phone, information technology, electric equipments, real estate, jewelry, construction and transport.
Doan Dinh Quoc, head of YBA’s domestic trade promotion department, said YBA would maintain the program and organize it quarterly under the motto “YBA members use YBA goods”. The association will also join hands with enterprises outside the association to seek new partners and trading opportunities given current economic difficulties.
The association also admitted 35 new members on Wednesday, taking to 833 the total number of enterprises under its umbrella. They have a combined capital of VND85.9 trillion and create over 126,000 jobs.
YBA chairman Nguyen Phuong Nam said the association sponsored 38 training courses, 10 seminars and donated over VND1 billion to charity activities last year.
