Life Art explores gender in ‘Stranger’

Life Art organization will hold a performance of play ‘Stranger’ at Black Box at 7:30 p.m. from tomorrow to Saturday.
It’s a joint production from SameStuff Theatre of Phan Y Ly and English theater artists Robert Hale and Paul Burgess. The performance is produced by the social enterprise Life Art and is partly funded by the British Council Arts Fund.
Lasting 90 minutes, the play themes on the power struggle between men and women, aiming at the experiment and application of new theater - devised theater - as well as the stimulus of discussion and critical thinking on gender in Vietnam.
Feedback and dialogue from audiences are an important contribution to the evolution of the project. Admission is free at Black Box, 2nd Floor, 56 Nguyen Khuyen Street in Hanoi.
