PANO – Lieutenant-General Luong Cuong, Deputy-Chief of the General Department of Politics, chaired a conference on March 30 th to review implementation of legal documents on building the Vietnam People’s Army in subordinated offices and units of the General Department.
Over the past time, under the direct guideline of the Defence Ministry, the General Department of Politics grasped thoroughly, deployed and implemented strictly all law documents on building the army, making contributions to completing the unit’s tasks and ensuring benefits for all officers.
Besides, the participants also analysed and pointed out some shortcomings in documents, and raised recommendations and contents needed to be modified and added next time.
Addressing the ceremony, the General highly appreciated all units’ efforts in implementing the documents and agreed to propose some concrete contents to the Defence Ministry to better the documents, including Laws on Military Service and Vietnam People’s Army Officers, and roles of Defence Ministry and the army.
