Lee Kirby to say goodbye to Vietnam by a live show

VietNamNet Bridge – Before returning home, British amateur singer Lee Kirby will hold a show in HCM City to say goodbye to Vietnam.

Anh Tuyet and Lee Kirby.

The show will take place for two nights, April 27-28, at the ATB night club in Phu Nhuan district, HCM City.

Lee Kirby loves songs by late composer Trinh Cong Son but he will not only sing Trinh’s songs, but songs by other famous Vietnamese songwriters, such as Tran Tien, Du Tu Le, Ngo Thuy Mien, Phu Quang, Nguyen Duc Cuong, Le Minh Son, Nguyen An, Nguyen Anh 9 and Lam Phuong. He will also perform a potpourri of English songs.

Senior singer Anh Tuyet will join the show and sing as a duo with Lee Kirby. She says that Kirby has “grown up” much more than his first days with Vietnamese music. The senior singer also praises Kirby for his serious attitude for his passion through learning Vietnamese, practicing vocal music, etc.

Lee Kirby has become familiar with Vietnamese audiences, especially the youth, as a foreign singer who performs Vietnamese songs, especially Trinh’s songs very well.

This June, Lee Kirby, American amateur singers Kyo York, Richard Fuller and Anh Tuyet will perform in California, USA. Anh Tuyet says that this is the chance to introduce to overseas Vietnamese foreign singers who love Vietnamese music.
