The Phu Yen Province Party Committee has expelled Dinh Thien Tuong, head of the Tay Hoa district Verdict Execution Sub-department for serious acts of corruption.
Tuong, 35, had been the Secretary of the Sub-department’s Party Cell, said the Party Committee’s Inspection Commission.
The Commission also asked the provincial Verdict Execution Department to fire Tuong.
The records of Tuong’s corruption have been transferred to the Investigation Department under the Supreme People’s Procuracy for a criminal investigation.
Tuong was found to have committed numerous acts while carrying out civil verdicts to make profits for himself such as organize a false auction sale of a house in Dong Phuoc Hamlet, Hoa An Commune, Phu Hoa District in order to transfer the house to a buyer to earn profits.
He also conducted illegal quality appraisal and value assessment for over 22 confiscated motorbikes, the Commission said.
