From Monday until next Friday, Laos culture days will take place in Hanoi to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 35th anniversary of the friendship and cooperation treaty.
The highlight of the event is the photo exhibition ‘The country, people of Laos and the Laos-Vietnam friendship’, featuring 60 photos about the warm Laotian people.
The exhibit will open from 9 a.m. on Tuesday until Thursday at the Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Center at 2 Hoa Lu Street, Hai Ba Trung District.
Alongside art exhibitions and Laotian films screenings, the event will see the performance of the Laos National Arts Troupe at the opening ceremony at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organization is preparing this year’s Vietnam-Laos people friendship festival which finishes on July 21.
There will be an exchange between representatives of participating organizations at 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Center for Women and Development Hotel at 20 Thuy Khue Street, Tay Ho District while the opening ceremony will be held at 8 a.m. on Monday at Hanoi Opera House. Another experience exchange is scheduled for 1:45p.m. on Tuesday at the Center for Women and Development Hotel.
