PANO - The Krong-H’Nang hydro-electric power plant was officially put into operation by the Song Ba Joint Stock Company at Ea Ly Commune, Song Hinh District, in south-central province of Phu Yen on September 12th.
Situated between Phu Yen and Dac Lac Provinces, the plant includes two turbines with capacity of 64 MW and a total investment capital of VND1,474 billion. The first turbine started generating electricity on June 22nd and the second also came into operation on September 6th this year. The plant is expected to supply around 247 million kWh per year.
At the inauguration ceremony, leaders of Phu Yen Province pressed the power button to officially connect the Krong-H’Nang hydro-electric power plant to the national grid.
