Around 100 couples will participate in a Kiss Festival, the first of its kind to be held at the Viet Tiep Friendship Cultural Palace, in Hai Phong, on February 13th, one day before the Valentine’s Day.
80 couples, including those over 50, have registered to take part in the event, “Party of Kisses”. According to the organiser, Golden Trademark Communication Joint-stock Company, February 11th will be the deadline for registration.
At the festival, couples will start kissing at a position required by the jury.
The 10 longest kisses will receive prizes, with a pair of laptops, worth VND 15 million, for the first prize.
Meanwhile, on the same day, in the evening at the Anh Sao Bridge, The Crescent, Phu My Hung, Ho Chi Minh City, will take present a program, “Evening of a Century’s Valentine”.
Along with Vietnam’s Idol Uyen Linh, who will sing a song, “Cam on tinh yeu” (Thank love), other popular singers, including Ho Ngoc Ha, Wanbi Tuan Anh and Quynh Anh, will also participate in the program.
During the event, for 100 couples in love, spectators will enjoy romantic items, such as “Kiss on a Balloon”, “999 roses for love”, with a pair of return tickets for route of Ho Chi Minh City-Paris for the winner at Pure Fragrance Love Marathon Competition.
Attentively, 10 leading Vietnamese photographers, including Hai Dong, Thanh Nguyen, Ly Vo Phu Hung, Ngo Anh Khoi and Dinh Dzu, will, for the first time, take photographs of moments of love via kisses made by 100 couples in the open air at night.
Best photos will be showcased at an exhibition, “Nocturnal Wall of Valentine”, scheduled to open on February 14th at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.
