A delegation including five out of six monks who have volunteered to practice Buddhism in Truong Sa (Spratly) islands, led by Tran Son Hai, deputy permanent chairman of Khanh Hoa central coastal province, left for the archipelago on a boat Thursday.

The monks have been appointed to rub some of the pagodas located in the island district.
Several artists from Khanh Hoa-based Hai Dang Song & Dance Troupe also went to Truong Sa on this occasion to provide entertainment for the district’s soldiers and inhabitants.
Singer Anh Dao, who has earned much affection from audiences in the district and been to Truong sa for the fifth time, also joined the delegation.
