KB Industries, Inc. signed an agreement with Central Sign-Trading Co., Ltd (CST) on Friday to establish a new KBI South East Asia Head Office in Vientiane to promote its “Flexi-pave” product in Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.
The agreement was signed by CST Director Mr Soupasith Bouahom and KBI Chairman Mr Kevin Bagnall in Vientiane.
CST will represent KBI to launch its activities in the region.
According to a press release, KBI specialises in installing rubber surfacing, identifying a significant opportunity within that industry to utilise recycled tyres.
KBI's mission is to utilise high volumes of waste tyres by designing and engineering innovative products and solutions for municipal, industrial, commercial and residential applications.
Created from recycled tyres, KBI's Flexi-pave is a truly “green” product, providing a permeable surface for a variety of paving applications while helping to solve environmental and economic concerns associated with the disposal of used tyres across the globe.
The product cures in just 24 hours, resulting in an ideal heavy-duty paving surface for courtyards, driveways, parking lots and golf cart paths.
