Japan to fund schools in mountain provinces

(VOV) - The Japanese Government will provide US$245,000. in non-refundable aid to build two schools in the northern mountain provinces of Lang Son and Hoa Binh.

Promoting Vietnam-Japan economic ties

Under an agreement signed in Hanoi on July 6, the new schools will be built in Chieng Chau commune in Hoa Binh and Tu Doan commune in Lang Son.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yasuaki Tanizaki said he believes the two projects will improve the learning environment for children in the two communes and boost friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and Vietnam.
