PANO - The Japanese ITOCHU Corporation has granted 60 scholarships worth of VND 2 million each to needy students with good study results from 13 faculties of the Hanoi University of Technology , including Foreign Languages, Communications and Electronics, Biological and Food Technologies, Chemical Technology and Mechanics.
Deputy-head of the University, Nguyen Canh Luong, said in recent years, not many Vietnamese students selected to study these scientific branches and these scholarships would encourage more students to study these subjects which are vital to the national industrialisation and modernisation course.
