A signing ceremony was held on March 16 th at the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.
Accordingly, US $109,718 will be pumped into a project to expand Khun Ha Communal Clinic. Set up in 2007, this clinic had only five rooms. Under the new project, a building will be built to better the care for local people.
The US $111,325 project will help upgrade a 5-classroom secondary school in Ban Giang Commune to a two-storey school with 8 rooms, accommodating nearly 300 students.
Along with the school, Ban Giang Commune will also receive financial assistance in building a 156 sq.m clinic to replace the currently downgraded clinic which was erected more than 30 years ago.
