VietNamNet Bridge – The special guest of the Operation Smile Inc and UNICEF – Chinese movie star Jackie Chan – will be the guest of Vietnam Television’s “Global Citizen” show on November 8.

The 30-minute show will be aired at 2pm, focusing on Jackie Chan’s visit to Vietnam on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Operation Smile Vietnam.
“Global Citizen” was launched in late this October, reported society and community issues. The show aims to widen the concept of a “global citizen” and promote social activities and youth campaigns.
This channel hopes to connect international volunteers, social projects and offer opportunities to social and non-governmental organisations.
The show’s director and host is Theresa Nguyen, a Vietnamese Danish.
“Global Citizen” includes “Global citizen bulletin” (news about Vietnamese and world youth, outstanding events about global issues); “Global link” (assisting young people to have access to significant cultural exchange programmes, social organizations, community activities and job opportunities); “Global inspiration” (introducing artworks, movies that inspire the youth or useful information about global issues”; “Skills for integration) (introducing group games).
The show also offers interactive activities like “Asian cultural festival” and action slot “Warm weekend”
