Israel supports cancer hospital and disadvantaged children

30 cabinets are presented to the hospital

Israeli Deputy Chief of Mission, Michal Hershkovitz, and embassy staff presented 30 cabinets to the hospital and 80 gift packages to poor patients undergoing treatment at the hospital, which is in Tam Hiep commune, Thanh Tri district in the outskirts of Hanoi. There are currently more than 90 children at the hospital, 50 of whom are inpatients and about 30 who are very serious cases. Most come from poor families and remote areas.

The embassy also sent financial support to renovate a playground and canteen at the Hanoi Centre for Disadvantaged Children in Chuc Son town, Chuong My district, Hanoi, and presented gifts to the 120 children cared for at the Centre. The new playground and canteen are expected to be completed by August 2 this year.

These are some of the embassy's many humanitarian activities to support individuals facing difficult lives.
