Irish Ambassador to Vietnam Maeve Collins has received the Vietnamese State’s Friendship Order for her active contributions to strengthening and developing the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son presented the award to the Ambassador of Ireland in Hanoi on August 18.

Ambassador Maeve Collins thanked the Vietnamese State and Government for granting her this noble award, considering it as representing Vietnam ’s friendly sentiment towards the Irish people.

The diplomat affirmed she will continue with active contributions to consolidating and developing the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Ireland. /.
