From 8 May 2012, Indovina Bank (IVB) launches new service on its Internet Banking service. While many commercial banks in Vietnam have popularly offerred the facility, IVB offers same with a particular feature.
IVB customers can now choose to secure their payment transactions over the internet by digital signatures (instead of password generated by OTP token) and IVB is among leading banks that apply digital signatures for internet transactions, as complied with State Bank Vietnam’s current e-banking regulations.
Transaction fees for this service is lower than traditional ones. On the launching occasion of the service, corporate customers are offered special price for the purchase of token-CA devices.
IVB is a joint-venture of Vietnam Join Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) and Cathay United Bank (belongs to Cathay Financial Holding Group) in Taiwan. In 2012, the bank was listed in the healthiest group by SBV and allowed credit growth up to 17% (highest cap allowed).
