PANO – A delegation of the Indian National Cadet Corps, led by Colonel Assem Kumar Chandra, paid a visit to the People’s Army Newspaper today.
This NCC’s visit to Vietnam is in the framework of the annual exchange between NCC and Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
People’s Army Newspaper Editor-in-Chief, Major General Le Phuc Nguyen, welcomed the delegation’s visit to the newspaper.
The general said that, NCC’s visit to the newspaper help strengthen the relation between Vietnam and India. He expressed that the Indian young cadets would be the bridge to promote the relation between the two countries.
After briefing about the history of the newspaper and its tasks, Maj. Gen. Le Phuc Nguyen asked the Indian cadets to send to the newspaper articles they can write to show their impressions in their visit to Vietnam.
“Our newspaper will publish your interesting articles in both Vietnamese and English,” Maj. Gen Le Phuc Nguyen said.
On behalf of the Indian NCC, Col. Chandra thanked the newspaper for its warm reception right after the delegation landed in Vietnam.
The Indian cadets also promised to send their articles to the newspaper during and after their trip, that will conclude on December 6th.
