DANANG – IBM Vietnam on Tuesday inaugurated an office at Indochina Tower, 74 Bach Dang Street, in Danang City, which is the firm’s third office in Vietnam after the ones in Hanoi and HCMC.

DANANG – IBM Vietnam on Tuesday inaugurated an office at Indochina Tower, 74 Bach Dang Street, in Danang City, which is the firm’s third office in Vietnam after the ones in Hanoi and HCMC.
Vo Tan Long, general director of IBM Vietnam, said that the opening of the Danang office would raise the firm’s capability of providing advanced information technology (IT) services and solutions for Danang City as well as the central region.
“IBM has been present in Vietnam for over 15 years, and we are now expanding operations in big cites after seeing huge potentials of Vietnam and the role of a smarter IT system in renovating State agencies and enterprises,” said Long.
The office in Danang will enable IBM to better pursue its project to make Danang a smarter city, Long added.
Phung Tan Viet, vice chairman of Danang City, said that the city would widely apply IT in operations and consider IT a key sector. Therefore, Danang appreciated the IBM project of converting Danang into a smarter city.
