PANO – The first program of the “I am talented” competition, a new interesting playground for high school students, launched by the British Council in Vietnam, VTV6 and VietBa Media, will be broadcast on VTV Channel 6 on Sundays from April 29th at 10am.
The 45-minute competition aims to help nationwide students approach comprehensive education methods. Students, with communication skills in English and abilities to perform arts and sports, can join the program.
Participants can also demonstrate their talents of singing, dancing, drawing, playing instruments and sports, which will be assessed by the program’s jury, including Miss Ngo Phuong Lan, reporter Dang Diem Quynh and Loz Whitaker, an English teacher at the British Council.
After online qualifying rounds in cities and provinces nationwide, the organising panel will select 100 top participants to compete in qualifying rounds in three regions of Vietnam, to take place in Hanoi, Da Nang City and Ho Chi Minh City.
The four top competitors will advance to the final round. The winner will have an opportunity to take part in a two-year A-level course at Ruthin School (one of the oldest ‘public schools’ (British term for a private school) in the UK.
