The Thua Thien-Hue Provincial People’s Committee plans to build a wireless internet network in Hue City for tourists, said Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, Deputy-Chairman of the Committee.
The establishment of this network will help improve the City’s tourism infrastructure, introduce Hue’s images to international friends and improve tourist service quality as well as help tourists easily access and use the internet for free.
To cover Hue City with free internet wifi, the Committee has instructed relevant agencies and the Hue City People’s Committee to inspect some tourist areas and public places across Hue to set up wifi routers.
According to Mr. Tho, Hue City will learn experiences from a plan to set up a free wifi router in the Ancient Town of Hoi An.
