At the book launching, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh President, Manzurul Ahsan Khan, and the translator of the the work, Ovinu Bibria Islam, spoke about President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary career, praising his great sacrifices, tremendous contributions, tenacious revolutionary spirit and wise leadership in the liberation of Vietnam.
Even though he has never been to Vietnam, Mr. Islam said he tried to translate the work into Bangla with the deepest respect and admiration for Ho Chi Minh in order to introduce a sample of the leader’s thought to the young generation in Bangladesh.
‘Ho Chi Minh’s Life and Revolutionary Cause’ by Moshin Shastrapani, originally published in Bangladesh in 1972, was recently re-printed in the country for the fifth time.
