Ho Chi Minh museum receives 400 objects about Uncle Ho

On August 26th, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh museum received 400 documents and objects related to Uncle Ho presented by individuals and groups.

In 2009 and 2010, Ho Chi Minh museum collected nearly 100 valuable original documents such as signed letters, the skirt President Ho Chi Minh presented Trinh Nhu Luong in 1949, a collection of 8 Uncle Ho insignias – the present of President Ho Chi Minh to pilot Mai Van Cuong for his shooting down 8 US fighters.

The family of heroine Tran Thi Ly in the central city of Da Nang presented an iron hat given by Uncle Ho to offer protection from bombs.

Nguyen The Nghia and his comrades imprisoned in Phu Quoc prison presented the museum a portrait of Uncle Ho and a party flag which was drawn by their blood to hold a solemn memorial service for Uncle Ho and a ceremony to admit party members.

Over the past time, the museum recorded memoirs of more than 30 witnesses who met, worked and had deep memeries about Uncle Ho. For example, Hoang Tan Quang spent 9 years serving Uncle Ho at the Presidential Palace.
