Hanoi will set off fireworks at 29 locations for 15 minutes (0-0.15 am) on February 3 (the first day of Lunar New Year Festival), a municipal official said.
Four locations for high-range fireworks include Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoan Kiem district) Dong Da Lake (Dong Da district), Thang Loi Hotel (Tay Ho district) and Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong district), said Do Dinh Hong, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Hanoi People’s Committee.
The other locations in the remaining 25 inner and outlying districts will have a low-range firework show.
The capital’s High Command to join hands with the city’s police and concerned departments to organise the firework display.
