According to the education ministry, over 500,000 high school students from northern provinces will travel to Hanoi to sit the tertiary entrance exams for 96 universities and colleges.

The volume of traffic to and from Hanoi’s major bus stations is predicted to increase between 60% and 130% during the time of the exams.

Nguyen Hoang Trung, director of Transerco, the operator of Hanoi’s bus stations, said that 230 buses will be added to the fleet at Giap Bat Station while My Dinh Station will have 165 more buses and Gia Lam Stations will add an extra 75.
