The 2012 Vietnam Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) Summit will be held in Hanoi on June 26 and 27.
With the theme ‘ICT, National Core Infrastructure,’ the summit will promote modernising the nation’s infrastructure by applying information technology (IT), to turn Vietnam into a modern industrialised country by 2020.
This year’s summit will also focus on applying ICT to deal with socially hot issues such as traffic jams and accidents, educational reform, development of smart cities, and electronic ID cards.-VNA
