The Hanoitimes - Work relating to the Hanoi ancient capital and the decoration work must be promptly finished to promote 1,000 years of Thang Long – Hanoi celebration and to further promote the value of the relic, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung, head of the national steering committee on the capital’s giant celebration, during a meeting with relevant ministries and agencies.
To prepare well for the activities marking 1,000 years of Thang Long – Hanoi, Hanoi City is directing the preservation center of the Co Loa – Hanoi ancient capital relic to focus on restoring the relic to promote 1,000 years of Thang Long – Hanoi. Planning to preserve the Thang Long citadel relic in the planning project for the Ba Dinh political center.
Stressing special values of the ancient capital area and Thang Long royal citadel – the most important historic relic of the Ba Dinh relic, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung asked relevant ministries and agencies to promote the historical value of the relic, and find ways to introduce the cultural and historical values of the relic to tourists.
