(VOV) - The Hanoi municipal People’s Committee has donated VND100 million to the army and the people and presented savings books (each worth VND5 million) to poor households in Truong Sa (Spratly) island district.
The Hanoi authorities have assigned the Navy High Command to hand over the gifts on the occasion of National Reunification Day (April 30).
Hanoi’s guest-house in Truong Sa opened last year to mark the 35th anniversary of Liberation Day and Uncle Ho’s birthday.
