The Hanoi Times - The Hanoi Beverage Joint Stock Corporation has inaugurated the Hanoi – Hong Ha Beer Brewery, the first phase, with a capacity of 25 million litres a year in Phu Tho province.
This is to welcome the 80th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 70th founding anniversary of the Phu Tho Party Committee.
The construction of the brewery started in late 2008 with a total investment of VND 186 billion.
It will be equipped with modern technology and imported equipment.
Once operational, it will manufacture draft and bottled beer which will be supplied in 11 provinces and cities in the northern region.
It is expected that the brewery will attract around 150 labourers with an average income of VND 2.5 – 3 million a month for each worker.
At present, the corporation is setting up the investment project in its second phase in order to raise the capacity to 50 million litres a year with a total investment of around VND 340 billion on an area of 3.7 hectares.
