Periodic maintenance on the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum has been completed, according to its Management Board.
The Mausoleum will continue to welcome tourists who pay tribute to Uncle Ho and the Fallen Heroes Memorial from November 5.
Water level rise in Red River not exceptional
LAO CAI — Water levels along the part of the Hong (Red) River that runs through northern Lao Cai Province rose yesterday but did not reach peak levels seen earlier this wet season.
The water level reached 1.78m, according to the provincial Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecast.
It's been raining in Lao Cai for the past three days, resulting in the flooding of all rivers in the province.
Continued showers are forecast in the province during the next two days. — VNS
