HCM City hosts ProPak and Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2012

As many as 339 domestic and foreign businesses are introducing their products and services at two ongoing international trade fairs hosted by Ho Chi Minh City from February 29 to March 2.

Both events are taking place at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in the city. They are the 7 th International Processing, Filling and Packaging Exhibition and Conference (ProPak Vietnam) and the International Plastics & Rubber Technologies and Materials Exhibition (Plastics & Rubber Vietnam).

This year’s ProPak Vietnam is attended by 196 companies from 22 countries and territories showcasing machines and the latest technologies for major sectors such as processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, machinery and new materials.

A must-attend event for professional engineers in Vietnam and abroad, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2012 attracted 143 companies from 17 countries. It introduced a wide range of advanced manufacturing and packaging equipment for the manufacturing sector.

Vietnam is a promising market for the region’s packaging industry, as well as the plastics and rubber processing industry, that drives the continuous growth of its export sector, including food, pharmaceuticals and biotech, electronics and automotive, among others.

Industrial buyers from throughout Asia, including Vietnam, are demanding a wider scope of solutions for their industrial plants and factory production that encompass the ProPak Vietnam profile industries including agriculture, bakery, dairy, liquid foods, frozen or chilled foods, beverage and brewing, confectionery, cosmetics, health and beauty, pharmaceuticals and biotech, and food manufacturing. Whereas Plastics & Rubber Vietnam covers profile products of aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, electrical and electronics, furniture, medical and healthcare.
