To mark German Year in Vietnam, two German writers, Ingo Schulze and Juli Zeh, will visit the country.
While in Vietnam, they will travel from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. Juli Zeh will write about her experience on her blog.
Vietnamese readers will have the chance to meet and talk with the writers in Hanoi at 7 p.m. on October 2 at the Goethe institute, 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
Ingo Schulze has written a number of books which have been translated into 30 languages. His novel Neue Leben won the Premio Grinzane Cavour. His novel Adam and Evelyn will be translated into Vietnamese.
Juli Zeh is best known for her first novel which was translated into 29 languages and adapted into a play for the stage. The young author also writes about politics, society and law, as well as plays for the theater.
