PANO - General Phung Quang Thanh, Politburo member, Defence Minister, on June 28 th , briefed voters in Hung Yen city and Tien Lu district, Hung Yen Province, on the results of the third session of the 13 th National Assembly.
At the meeting, voters expressed their confidence in and excitement with the success of this session.
They also highly appreciated socio-economic achievements in the first months of this year as well as the Government’s socio-economic, national defence-security solutions and missions in the second half of the year.
Additionally, voters asked the National Assembly, the Government, Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee to show their concerns to measures and policies on investing in rural infrastructure, perfecting the rural road network, and pouring more funds in new rural building projects for agricultural modernization and rural development, as well as to regulations and policies for district and communal cadres and people with merit.
Addressing the meeting, General Phung Quang Thanh asked the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee at all levels and authorities to show more interest in the new rural building investment to create more jobs, eradicate hunger and alleviate poverty, ensure social security, uphold security and order and in tight combination between defence and security, external affairs and economy.
General Thanh also praised Hung Yen provincial voters’ responsibility in putting forwards various deep and practical recommendations to the National Assembly.
Furthermore, he briefed voters on the national achievements on socio-economy, security-defence and external affairs over the past time.
