A freelance French painter is showcasing his paintings drawn on rhamnoneuron paper at 1 Le Hong Phong Street, Hue City.
Painter Jean Cabane, now living in Hoi An City, drew his paintings with natural ashy materials from burned bamboo leaves, on rhamnoneuron paper.
31 displayed paintings have no names. However, each painting is seen as a trace of memory, an excerpt depicting landscapes, cultural colours in areas where the French painter passed by.
The exhibition, themed “Landscapes, Colors Reflecting Culture”, will end on April 2 nd .
