The French culture and cuisine week will open at Vatel Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City from April 8 th to 16 th under the auspices of the French Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. The French cuisine exchange week, a photo exhibition on France by four Vietnamese photographers and a singing contest in French will be on the agenda.
The French cuisine exchange, to take place from April 9 th to 15 th , will gather famous chefs, such as Patrick Berenger from Vatel Saigon Restaurant and Didier Corlou from La Verticale restaurant, to introduce special taste of the French cuisine.
Besides, spectators will enjoy France’s beauty at a photo exhibition, “A Glance of France”, by four Vietnamese photographers, Hoang The Nhiem, Nguyen Phuong, Le Quan and Le Bien on April 8 th at the Vatel Saigon Restaurant.
The last activity in the week is a singing contest in French. In qualifying rounds, contestants will perform French songs. The top three contestants will perform with professional singers at the final round at 31 Thai Van Lung, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The winner will receive a trip to Paris for two, worth VND 100 million.
