Franco-German TV network Arte is expected to make a documentary about Vietnamese legendary turtle in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem Lake, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Foreign Press Center.

Franco-German TV network Arte is expected to make a documentary about Vietnamese legendary turtle in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem Lake, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Foreign Press Center.
According to schedule, the film-making crew will stay in Vietnam from April 23 to May 11 for a 45-minute documentary with support from the Vietnamese steering committee set up to rescue the elderly creature last year , from the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology and from representatives of the Asian Turtle Program.
The film could bear the title “The Legend of Hoan Kiem Lake” or “The Journey to Find Turtle Lord.”
Luck Woflgang, the movie’s director, is seeking copyrights to some videos about t he process of treatment for the legendary turtle made by local press last year in his documentary.
According to turtle expert Ha Dinh Duc, a member of the committee for rescuing the turtle, Italian La7 TV Chanel has also contacted him to make a different documentary to raise awareness about the environment via the story of the said turtle.
