The SuperStar Aquarius will dock at Tien Sa port in Da Nang city on November 5 and Cai Lan port in Quang Ninh province on November 7, according to the SaiGon Travel Service Company (Saigontourist).
The cruise liner will make 18 voyages to Vietnam this December and 17-19 voyages each month in the first quarter of next year.
From November 2011 to March 2012, Saigontourist will coordinate with Malaysia’s Star Cruises to offer tours in Ha Long, Da Nang, Hoi An, and Hue for a total of 190,000 tourists from China, Hong Kong (China), Japan and the Republic of Korea.
The ship, able to accommodate 2,100 passengers, is 230 metres long and 29 metres wide, providing tourists with luxury services including fine dining, a sports centre and various entertainment games.
When the ship docks, passengers will have the opportunity to take tours around the area to learn about the culture, history and daily lives of local people and sample the cuisine and other local specialties.
