HCMC - Foreign Trade Development and Investment Joint Stock Co. (Fideco) on Thursday joined forces with Belgium’s Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management to establish an entrepreneurship center to serve business start-ups.
Under a memorandum of understanding signed by the two sides in HCMC, the entrepreneurship center will provide courses on business management, support business start-ups and seek funding sources for them.
As for training and education, the center will collaborate with the HCMC Law and Economics University to organize 20-month MBA and business start-up programs. Training programs may start in September, after the center gets approval from the Vietnam National University in HCMC.
The entrepreneurship center will also provide members with short-term courses on specific topics such as business planning, financial management and business strategy in the near future.
Newly-established businesses can order the center’s services to open offices and do administrative paperwork at low prices. Such services will be launched next year.
The center will mobilize capital for business start-ups through a wide network of the center’s founders – Fideco and Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
