Nhan Dan Online – The European Food Festival 2011 will be held at the National Library, 31 Trang Thi Street, Hanoi on May 28 as part of the 2011 European Days in Vietnam.
The festival offers Hanoians the opportunity to taste the finest cuisine from European countries including Valencian Paella, a rice dish from Spain, Italian lasagna, and a variety of baguettes and pizzas.
Exceptional dishes will be featured by chefs from many renowned restaurants in Hanoi including the Sofitel Legend Metropole, Sofitel Plaza, Hilton Hanoi Opera, the Melia, Movenpick, the Grand Plaza and Mecure.
The festival will also include a musical show with DJ Oliver Massmann and the famous band HI JINKS, which is known for soaring vocal harmonies and lighthearted instrumental arrangements.
Visitors can also join a lucky draw to win a return ticket to a European country on Vietnam Airlines, a luxury resort vacation and many other valuable prizes.
Tickets to the festival cost VND 250,000, which includes eight food and drink coupons. There is no charge for children under 10. More than 1,100 tickets have been issued for this year, an increase over last year’s event, which sold 600 tickets.
